what happened to our society?
since when we have decided to be

while we are failing the simple test
to not take the needy as a pest
when we are better off then the rest

breeding greed in midst of wealth
ruthless harm in trade with health
the weak used as fitting tools
conscience being sing of fools

try to pause, try to think
we are close to the brink
madness swirls underneath
to which we shall pay heed
